I have no projects to blog about so I will tell you about my obsession with Pottery Barn Kids. I just got a new catalog yesterday. It just kills me with their cuteness and matchy-matchyness. Their quilts looked like something I could have made myself, if I have the time and effort. Their toys, need I say more? And they have baby clothes too, in Liberty lawn! Aargh… Don’t worry, I always got away from their store without an empty wallet because they have ridiculous prices.
I have to admit, I have a buying frenzy before my girl was born. The nesting period, you know? Of course I only bought the sale stuff, some crib sheets and blankets. I’m still happy everytime I looked at them but they didn’t get as much use as I would like them to. It’s a good thing I didn’t get the bumper because Abby only slept in her crib for 2 months. She prefer our bed, so the crib is already on a loan to a friend. However, the PBK sheets are not included on the loan.
Abby can climb onto things now. Yesterday she climbed on top of the dining chairs! It made my heart racing but she managed to do it without any falls but I have to watch the chairs closely from now on. She can climb up and down from sofas and beds but dining chairs are different. They could topple sideways or she could loose a footing, or even climb even higher to the dining table! We’ll see what happens in these coming days.
We put an offer on yet another house. Cross your fingers, and they do say third time’s a charm, right?

I know how you feel about PBK, I have never bought anything there but I often drool over the catalog.
Good luck with you house.
Yep, I’m a little PBK obsessed too! I did purchase one thing, a little bathroom rug, but that was on sale at a great price. It’s got a big green octopus on it, but isn’t cheesy. Perfect for the spare bathroom. But I drool over everything on their site…which is why I don’t get the catalog anymore. I’m afraid I’d buy it all in one sick spree!
Fingers crossed for you on the house!
I love looking through pottery barn and pottery barn kids catalogs for inspiration, too. everything is so appealing.
good luck with the house!
I just bought those bird sheets. I had to, they were so cute!
