A bunny! I made her from Fiona’s pattern. An easy pattern really, but I made it hard for myself by using wool instead of the suggested flannel. It’s a pain trying to turn the limbs inside out with such thick fabric. The wool does give her a lovely fuzzy texture that’s nice to cuddle with. Abby used her as a nap buddy right away after I finished her this morning.

Here’s another shot without the skirt. I used a Heather Ross print for her skirt. I’m almost tempted to sew it without changing thread, but decided not to and rethread my machine. I’m glad I did! Can you spot another Heather print there?

Wow! This is soooo cute!
she’s adorable!
She’s so cute! And I had to look for a while before I realized the other HR fabric – lol!
She’s darling!
i am absolutely in love with your blog! i love the colors, photography, your beautiful projects and that cute cuddly baby! oh my, you are so talented! i found your blog from our flickr 6 x 3 Bee blog roll and i’m so glad! i will for sure be putting you in my blog sidebar.
i love the bunny and the HR skirt!!!
thank you!
I bought a boy baby quilt kit from you long long time ago. it’s the first patchwork quilt I ever made and it’s still being used today!
Lovely! I just bought that pattern too, but haven’t found the time to make it. Note to self: find time soon!!!
Such a cute bunny! I found your blog via One Yard Wonders – I am making the (adorable) classic jumper and I have a question. I am in the process of attatching the band to the skirt and have managed to line up the seams and the front (with the gathers) but the back has stumped me. The back band is much larger than the skirt – am I missing a step? Sometimes I have mommy brain and just can’t seem to follow directions! Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much for sharing such a great project – happy sewing!
Adrienne
OK. I am offically a dork (as if I wasn’t one already). I cut wrong. I figured out the answer to my own question. I reversed the measurements for the skirt. I definilty have mommy brain. Thanks for your time!
Hi Adrienne! To tell you the truth, I kind of forgot about the instructions. And the publishers still hasn’t sent me a copy yet! So I’m not really much of a help here. I’m glad you figured it out yourself!
Happy sewing to you too
Adorable!
