Hello to everyone stopping by for the Christmas in July Blog-a-Thon! My block tute is here and it’s a fun stack of presents. The finished size is 11″ square. Aren’t you just curious how these blocks wll all fit together?

We all know that Christmas is never without a present somehow, so let’s get on with the giveaway. I am giving away 1 6″ charm pack of Amy Butler’s Gypsy Caravan. Please leave a comment on this post telling me what’s your plan(s) for the rest of the summer, other than doing the Block-a-Thon, of course. The giveaway will be open until midnight on Sunday EST and I will announce the winner on Monday morning.
Good luck and happy stitching!

I would like to start and hopefully finish a Christmas lap quilt this summer..
I plan on doing a lot of swimming before the hot weather disappears. thanks for the chance to win!
I hope to finish quilting one of my quilt tops iwhilst juggling work, playing with children and their summer camps. Oh, and trying not to start anymore projects
I want to finish the Swoon quilt I started last year. Also, read some books, harvest my garden and enjoy my children who are getting old enough to go their own way.
We’re going camping for an extended weekend in early August. I just hope it isn’t this hot!
My Summer plans are many… get my flower beds in order– lots of mulching, weed pulling and planting needed… make curtains for my home– currently there are only mini-blinds and curtains are badly needed… sew some gifts for my daughters, granddaughter, Mom and sisters for Christmas… Thank you for the chance to win!! Giveaways are such fun!
I’m planning to crochet some gifts for friends:)
My sister and I are planning a day trip to IKEA. I think the rest of the summer will be spent inside in the air conditioning; it’s been one hot summer here in Cleveland.

OMG– Wo9uld love this fabric. I am currently quiltinga VERY traditional quilt– trying to get those done so I can move on to the art/modern quilts I love. And there are 1 more traditional and a modern [in pink and black with a touch of polka dpot thrown in]. Then there’s a WIP I am making up as I go– summer better last a lot longer!
i have two more mini-trips planned – one to Massachusetts and one to see family in NC. Why does summer go so fast when you are an adult?? I am not ready to return to the structure of schooltime…
Hope to finish several Christmas pillows I started.
My plans for the rest of this summer are to finish some organizing things in my home as well as some gifts I’ve had to get finished and some I haven’t even started. And spending as much time as possible spoiling my 5 month old Granddaughter who, along with her parents are moving into our home today. Wish us luck. Hubby and I have been alone for a few years now after all the boys moved out so this is a huge change and it’s been a very long time since I’ve had a baby in my house.
Great block!
It looks as though summer might finally be arriving here in the UK so I shall be in my garden!
I have some friends coming to visit and will be having fun with them for the next two weeks. Hopefully boating, hiking and swimming, if the weather cooperates. Then it’s back to work for the rest of August.
My number one plan for the summer is to get my 3 college kids that are home for the summer back to school this August. Oh, I also need to enter my wall art quilt in the State Fair and finish a quilt for my church’s auction.
now that my company is gone, i’ll have a nice, restful time cutting and sewing. will pick out lovely new blox like yours for a sampler christmas quilt from this blog hop.
Oh, it’s birthday express for the next few weeks–my three children and one grandchild all have birthdays between July 26 and August 8. I’ve been sewing my socks off!
hello! hope to finish my Christmas runner!
thanks for sharing!
I’m going to finish a couple of table runners and a lap quilt. Thanks for the giveaway!
I can hardly believe July is almost over! Summer seems way too short. I have several projects I’m working on and a couple more that are ‘on hold’ until I have completed the WIP. In between, I hope to get in several mini vacations to visit family and to go biking with my husband.
